Further and Higher Education
The North East team has recently set up an Education Focus Group to continue to develop and improve links between audio visual companies and learning providers in the region. Within the field of Further Education we are continuing to develop links with colleges that provide courses for young people aged 16 and above, adults, and professionals seeking specialist provision. In relation to Higher Education we work with Universities and Specialist Colleges which offer HND, Degree and Postgraduate courses aimed at higher level skills development. Education providers in the region are also engaging with the media industry, some with specific support from Skillset, to develop new two-year foundation degrees aimed at meeting industry needs.
