Crossover Labs
Crossover is an international programme designed to explore the creative and the commercial challenges of developing content and services for digital media.
In 2008 there will be a number of Crossover Labs produced and presented by Unexpected Media and Sheffield Doc/Fest.
Applications are now open for the forthcoming Crossover Docs Lab which is taking place from 5th to 10th October as part of the Doc/Fest in Sheffield. The deadline for applications is 8 September.
Applications are accepted from documentary makers, games producers, animators, new media producers and people working in areas including mobile, the web and all other media forms.
Crossover is a unique series of creative ‘laboratories' in which experienced and talented professionals from different sectors of the audio-visual industries work alongside international experts and mentors to develop ideas for innovative cross-platform programmes, products or services.
The lab brings together 24 people from different disciplines and helps to foster new collaborations and ways of generating and developing innovative cross platform projects. Participants are eligible to pitch in the Crossover Pitch at Doc/Fest where you can win a development prize of £10,000.
You can also apply to the Crossover Kids Lab which is being held in the first week of December. Deadline for applications is 27 October.
