Skillset's Work in Scotland

The work of Skillset Scotland is guided by the Scottish Industry Skills Panel Scottish Industry Skills Panel.  Its membership is made up of leading employers and representatives from unions, trade associations, further and higher education and public agencies. The panel acts as Skillset Scotlands formal advisory committee. One of the key achievements of the panel was to inform an action plan for the creative industries, the Scottish Parliament, the Scottish Government and other relevant agencies and companies.

Skillset Scotland's priorities for action, defined by The Sector Skills Agreement are.

  • A range of collaborative actions, complete with commitment and support from industry, Government and its public agencies. These collaborations and solutions will underpin the growth and competitiveness of the creative industries now and in the future.
