Skillset's Media and Screen Academy Networks allow education and industry to work together to produce leaders of the future in creative media worldwide. They form a network of colleges and universities across the UK which are centres of excellence in television, radio and interactive media.
In Scotland, we have 2 Skillset Academies: one Media and one Screen Academy.

Creative Loop is a partnership of 6 well resourced, industry focused colleges across Scotland. An award of £1 million from the Scottish Government and the Scottish Funding Council allowed us to help Creative Loop in its first year.
Together, the colleges provide high quality practical media education and set standards in a number of key areas. The courses they offer covers a wide range of skill areas, with an extensive list of specialist education and training programmes using professional standard equipment, kit and facilities. This means that graduates leave with first hand experience of working practices in television, radio and Interactive media. Added to that, the insights, vision and judgement they learn to develop will help them to succeed in related fields of employment and further Honours study.
Creative Loop's new, fresh and exciting approach to teaching are breaking down traditional barriers by focusing on convergence and future skills needed in the working world of creative media. Creative Loop is fully endorsed and supported by key national strategic and industry partners.
