Key succeses in Scotland's Creative Media landscape
- the set up of Skillset Media and Screen Academies
- new creative media qualifications that have been designed with industry advice and guidance
- investment in careers information, advice and guidance (IAG) via Skillset Careers
- bursaries for freelancers
- investment in training for small companies
- development of specially-designed short training courses delivered in Scotland. These courses allow freelancers to update their skills while they continue to work and is often called CPD (continuous professional development)
