New Funding Awards Opened

The Cinema & Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF) has launch two new awards aimed helping new entrant industry talent known as the John Brabourne Awards, and they are open to those living in the South East. The awards are open to everyone who is actively pursuing a career in the UK film and television industry, who have demonstrated determination and motivation in targeting their chosen career.

The Oxford Film & Video Makers (OFVM) – new subsidised courses now open!
Deadline: Ongoing
OFVM offers subsidised training courses in digital video production, 16mm film, HD and super 8. It also trains people in software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, AVID and Flash animation as well as Screenwriting. They also offer training bursaries and production awards, run screenings, networking events, provide production support and script development.


Leadership & Management Training Opportunity

Funded by the European Social Fund and managed by the University College for the Creative Arts, Creative Leaders is designed to help small and medium sized companies maximise their potential, by offering high quality training in leadership and management, business skills and presentation workshops.

The Business & Digital Media Training Initiative

The Business and Digital Media Training Initiative (BDMTI) is a programme of courses and events aimed at those most under–represented in the Digital Media; black and minority ethnic groups, women, those with disabilities and older workers. You may be eligible to receive funding to cover the costs of attending the events they offer.

The Women in Digital Entertainment (WiDE) is an ESF project at the University for the Creative Arts. The project aims to support women in developing their careers in the digital entertainment industries. As part of their ESF funding they have £15,000 to support training for women. The University has chosen to do this by offering up to £150 to fund participation in training and development opportunities.
