
Bournemouth Media School at Bournemouth University
On the 5th July 2005 Bournemouth achieved Screen Academy status and is set to become one of Britain 's key centres for filmmaking after the town's University and Arts Institute won a joint bid.

Radio Production
Computer Animation
Corporate Communications and Advertising Management and Journalism (industry approved Broadcast, Print, Online).
Currently it caters for about 1500 students and its reputation amongst the media industries is generally reckoned to be good. The School has recently been designated a Centre of Excellence for the Teaching of Media Practice by the Higher Education Funding Council - the only media school in the country to have been recognised in the way.
