Bridgwater College offers an exciting range of FE and HE programmes in a wide variety of creative subjects. We are the proud beneficiary of the Queens Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education and also have Beacon College status.
Students benefit from facilities that have been described by Ofsted as outstanding and include: purpose built television and photography studios, digital video editing, graphic design and music suites, recording studio, drama and music performance suites and a dance studio.
We have constructive links with relevant employers including fruitful partnerships with the Somerset Film and Video network and The Engine Room Media Centre.
The staff are informed and enthusiastic teachers who draw upon a wealth of industry experience. We also have a full programme of visiting speakers and practitioners. Students' creative practical work has been recognised nationally, achieving the BECTA digital video award for short film and winning the Fuji Film student photographer award.
