Tamworth and Lichfield College
Tamworth and Lichfield College is the fastest growing college in Staffordshire.
The college has two campuses, in Tamworth and Lichfield. The Art, Design and Media courses are based at the Lichfield site.

- BTEC First Diploma in Art and Design

- BTEC National Diploma in Media (Moving Image)
- BTEC Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design

- BTEC Higher National Diploma in Media - Moving Image This is a specialist programme with a strong work related emphasis.
Students are encouraged throughout the course to demonstrate the practical skills gained on the course by entering their films into one of many national festivals held throughput the year. In 2005 a short film "Writers' Block" produced by one of the second year students, was nominated and highly commended at the Blink Film Festival and in October the student produced feature film "Dead Trees" was a winner in the student non-factual category of the Royal Television Society Awards.
Students are also offered the opportunity of gaining practical work experience through Armoris Films ( Website: www.armoris.co.uk), a production company which is part of the College's School of Art. Specialising in corporate, educational and training films, Armoris plays a vital role in preparing students for employment in the real world.

Work experience external to the college is also encouraged, with several students already having obtained placements with independent production companies as well as the BBC and ITV.
