Media students benefit from up-to-the-minute multimedia facilities as well as the experience of professionally trained tutors.

BTEC Higher National Diploma Media Successful students can progress onto these courses.

A unique one-year 'top-up' either on the BA (Hons) Degree in Media or the BA in Creative Digital Media at University of Worcester, with which this teaching area has strong links.

Performing Arts

A recent multi-million pound investment has provided excellent facilities, for example a fully equipped studio theatre, rehearsal and practice rooms, recording studios, TV studio, radio broadcasting facilities, editing and post production facilities.

Ex-Led Zeppelin star, Robert Plant, is patron to the College's independent record label MAS Records. Plant has joined forces with his fellow band member, Kevyn Gammond, a music lecturer and course leader at Kidderminster College, to help talented students to progress in the music industry.

BTEC National Certificate in Music Technology - DJ and Mixing

BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology Several students have been 'head hunted' from the music technology course and are now working as sound engineers, multi-media event co-ordinators and producers both in the UK and abroad

The HND Film and HND Media programmes provide an opportunity for students to work collaboratively on original projects, some of which are externally commissioned. Students are taught with additional input from renowned people such as Mike Bullen, the writer and producer of Cold Feet, and Roger Dicken, the creator of the 'Chest Buster and Facehugger' from Ridley Scott's 'Alien'.
