Stratford-upon-Avon College is a medium sized College in Warwickshire with a growing international reputation for quality. The College was shown to be the strongest performing College in Warwickshire, according to the Government 16+ league tables for 2004-5.

Local radio station The Bear recently asked the college to launch 'Jock Idol', a competition to find new presenters, which involved three of their National Diploma in Media students reaching the final. To decide the overall winner, students had to co-present alongside a regular DJ.
HND students have set up their own production company called Nines Company, which has been commissioned to produce audio visual products for various organisations. Programmes made by both National Diploma Media and Higher National Diploma Media students are broadcast on the Creative Network Channel.

SWIFT Programme The college has 14-16 year old SWIFT Programme (South Warwickshire Initiative for Training) students attending one day a week under the Gifted and Talented scheme to study the First Diploma in Media or First Diploma in Performing Arts (acting) (dance) (music). These students are able to pursue an industry focussed course whilst at the same time taking between eight and ten GCSE's.
