Leeds Trinity & All Saints is an independent higher education institution, accredited by the University of Leeds. The college's campus is on the outskirts of Leeds with very good transport links. With just under 3,000 students, Leeds Trinity & All Saints has an excellent employment rate for its graduates of consistently above 95%.
Leeds Trinity Department of Media, Film and Culture pioneered media degree courses in the UK in the 1970s. This length of experience, coupled with the staff's wide range of practical, theoretical and professional expertise, gives the courses a well-deserved reputation for breadth of content and continuing innovative approach.

The college enjoys strong links with the BBC, ITV and independent media organisations throughout the region. Central to its degree programmes are professional work placements within the industry.
Leeds Trinity offers undergraduate degree courses in subjects including media (single or joint honours), writing for media, film studies, television and journalism with specialisms available in sport, business or PR.
Its postgraduate programmes in print, bimedia journalism (Radio & TV) are industry accredited and have been impressively successful in providing a very high level of vocational training and enhanced employment prospects for graduates. Added to this range of postgraduate diplomas and MAs, a course in Magazine journalism will be available from January 2009.

Media Training
A variety of training courses are offered to help equip people from a wide range of backgrounds to handle the different arms of the media. In the case of the business world, trainees are taught how to recognise the sort of story that will interest the media, and then how to attract media attention and generate publicity.

The media trainers are all practitioners in their respective media fields, as well as being members of Leeds Trinity staff.
Media Centre
The Media Centre at Leeds Trinity & All Saints offers radio, television and online production and training services. Studio facilities in the centre house a wide range of production equipment for professional broadcasting, recording and editing. Experienced academic and technical staff are available to advise, train and operate systems as required.

Journalism
The dedicated Centre for Journalism teaches industry-accredited postgraduate diplomas in bi-media, radio and print journalism. These courses are specifically designed to equip people to find work in the industry, involving almost 42 weeks of intensive education and training in the knowledge and skills essential to professional journalism practice. Much of the tuition is workshop-based in the professionally equipped print, radio and television news rooms.
