Digital 2010
Digital 2010 is an Action Plan that sets the compass for succesful development of digital skills across Yorkshire and the Humber for the next four years. It involves a partnership of all those across the region who plan, fund or deliver education and training to improve digital skills.
The Digital 2010 Action Plan sets out 37 Actions focusing on the full range of education and training from schools through to professional development. A new online facility has been set up to show the progress against the 37 Actions and to raise the profile of the people and the projects that are driving digital skills activity across all sectors of the regional economy, as well as for citizens.
The Action Plan is specifically set out in line with the aims and objectives of both Skillset and e-skills UK. Skillset sits on the Digital 2010 Operational Steering Group, which reports to the Regional Skills Partnership and includes Business Link, the Learning and Skills Council for Yorkshire and the Humber, as well as Yorkshire Forward.
Skillset is working with the DIgital 2010 partners to map its individual Sector Skills Agreement to the Digital 2010 call for action.
